Jason Lipshutz is the co-chief content officer at Billboard, where he has written about music for over a decade and penned cover stories on Taylor Swift, U2, Blink-182, Lorde, Bon Iver and Olivia Rodrigo, among others. He previously served as Billboard's executive director of music coverage. He has appeared on Access Hollywood, Good Morning America, TODAY, Entertainment Tonight and several other broadcast programs. His first book, 'It Starts With One: The Legend and Legacy of Linkin Park,' was published through n 2024, and his next book, 'A Whole Lotta History: One Direction and the Sound That Shaped a Generation,' is due out in November 2026. Jason is constantly in awe of his colleagues and their outstanding work, as well as perpetually convinced that this is the year that the Philadelphia 76ers will win it all. He lives in New Jersey.
