Pamela Bustios
With more than 25 years in the music industry, Pamela Bustios is a bilingual writer and music journalist, whose work has helped spotlight the evolution and global impact of Latin music. Since joining Billboard in 2017, she has served as Senior Charts & Data Analyst for Billboard Latin & Español. As part of Billboard’s Latin live events and initiatives, she contributes charts analysis, editorial content, and programming expertise to complement the brand’s coverage, while also lending her voice and on-camera presence.

A member of the Recording Academy and Latin Recording Academy, Pamela brings extensive music knowledge and a multidisciplinary perspective, serving on the Industry Committee for Artists 2 Watch at Premios Juventud. Pamela is a trusted moderator for high-level industry conversations. Her most recent engagements include Warner Music Group’s Leadership Panel for Women’s Month (2026); International Music Finance Forum: The Future of Tropical Music with Oscar D’León and Sergio George (2025) Women in Music: Career Journey and How Success Is Defined (2023); ASCAP Foundation & She Is the Music (2019), as well as featured artists Steve Aoki and RedOne.

Before Billboard, she worked alongside Grammy-winning artists, producers, and industry leaders at BMG Music Entertainment, Sony Music Latin, SonyBMG Music Entertainment, and independent labels. In 2010, she served as band manager and publicist during Nelly Furtado’s Mi Plan tour.
