Carlos Sanson Jr.
Carlos Sanson Jr. starred as the lead of several seasons of the smash-hit Stan Original Comedy Series BUMP. The series has been twice nominated for Best Drama Series at the AACTA Awards. The fifth and final season of the show will air in 2025.
He’s a US Citizen of Cuban decent and he also boxes, he has his first professional fight coming up which is being filmed for a documentary.
He graduated from Screenwise in 2018 and soon after graduating, appeared in the CW series LEGACIES, and in Netflix’s MALIBU RESCUE: THE NEXT WAVE which premiered at number one on Netflix upon release. Following this, Carlos played the guest role of “Dylan” in the Binge television series MR INBETWEEN. He was then soon cast as “Santiago” in the Stan television series BUMP, which he has starred in since 2021.
In 2022, Carlos appeared in the Arena Media produced feature film SWEET AS, alongside Mark Cole Smith. He most recently appeared in the Paramount + series PAPER DOLLS which is based on the true story of “Bardot”; and in the ABC television series adaptation of LADIES IN BLACK which also stars Debi Mazar and Miranda Otto.
Carlos was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent at the 2022 Logie Awards, and in 2023 was named one of the Casting Guild of Australia's Rising Stars.
Carlos recently made his mainstage theatrical debut in Sydney Theatre Company’s THE DICTIONARY OF LOST WORDS. He has also produced several short films (HOODIES, NINE WHITE MOONS, SEEING RED) under his film collective ‘Strange Attractor’.
