Maria Gracia
A dynamic music executive with over a decade of experience, Maria Gracia prides herself on building innovative and culturally significant marketing campaigns across the music industry. Born in Guanajuato, Mexico and raised in South Florida, Maria spent her youth ravenously attending concerts and immersing herself in the culture early on. She quickly developed a passion for music, and she began hustling in school to make a name for herself in the industry. She hit the pavement in high school, grinding as a street team rep for Fueled By Ramen and The Syndicate before landing an internship at Atlantic Records. She assisted on some of the label’s most pivotal campaigns of the time, including Twenty One Pilots’ Vessel and Paramore’s self-titled comeback record. From there, she went on to intern at Columbia Records, accruing even more hands-on experience in brand partnerships and strategic marketing.
Maria’s love of music deepened, and she eventually moved to New York City in 2012 before graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in 2014. Her rise didn’t stop, as she soon after joined Epic Records as a Marketing Coordinator, contributing to campaigns for Future, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott and more. In 2018, she joined Island Records as Marketing Director, crafting marketing campaigns for genre-bending artists like Emotional Oranges, THEY., Chiiild, Baby Rose and Giggs. She then moved to Def Jam in 2022 where she led the Grammy Award winning campaign for Muni Long’s multi-platinum single, “Hrs and Hrs”.
Now as the Head of Latin Artist Marketing at UnitedMasters, her passion for crafting authentic and groundbreaking global campaigns continues to be recognized. She’s already spearheaded global strategies for rising stars like FloyyMenor, whose viral hit “GATA ONLY” dominated charts worldwide and earned accolades from Billboard where he held the #1 spot on the Hot Latin Songs chart for 14 consecutive weeks, making him the first Chilean artist to reach this achievement since 1999 and held the #1 Global Song on TikTok. Under her leadership, FloyyMenor became the first Chilean artist to win both a Latin Billboard Music Award and Billboard Music Award and achieve multiple RIAA certifications. In 2025, after a 2024 marked by historic achievements, FloyyMenor added his 2025 Billboard Latin Award nomination as the only Chilean nominee in that year’s edition and under Maria’s leadership, UnitedMasters celebrated its first Billboard Latin Music Award nomination for “Latin Rhythm Albums Sello Discográfico del Año”. Her passion and vision continue to elevate emerging Latin artists and shape the next era of global music.
