Cristina Perpiñá-Robert
Since 2023, Cristina Perpiñá-Robert has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Spanish General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE). In just two years, she has established SGAE as an industry benchmark and strengthened its international presence, helping to define future rights management models and driving a fairer cultural ecosystem for creators. Under her leadership, the organisation has achieved its best results to date.
With over 25 years of experience in the copyright management industry, Perpiñá Robert has held high-level positions at international organisations such as CISAC, where she served as Director of Legal and Policy (2019–2023), and at SGAE itself, where she worked from 1998 to 2018.
A Law graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid, she is a lecturer, speaker, and regular panellist at international conferences and congresses on intellectual property, collective management, and artificial intelligence. She has also authored various publications regarding the intellectual property sector.
