Miguel Ramírez
At 27, Miguel Ramírez has spent eight years building a career as a talent manager and entrepreneur, working today with some of the top talent in music. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, he moved to the United States in 2017 and split his time between the classroom and the recording studio.
Between 2018 and 2021, Miguel worked his way through college while building his network and pursuing opportunities in the music industry. After completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees in 2021, he landed his role at Wide Eyed Entertainment, where he worked in management and publishing with a roster that included Becky G, Elena Rose, and Latin Grammy-winning songwriters and producers Spread Lof, Vibarco, and Mazzarri.
In 2022, Ramírez took on his first label leadership role, helping run BorderKid Records alongside Edgar Barrera — a joint venture with Sony Music Latin and a safe space for cultivating emerging artists, free of the barriers that typically slow young talent down. Barrera himself is one of the most influential creative forces in music today: a 29-time Latin Grammy winner, Grammy winner, 3x Songwriter of the Year, 3x Producer of the Year, and 44-time BMI Award winner. Ramírez continues to support his career as a songwriter and producer today.
In 2025, Ramírez founded The MRH Group, an independent company offering consulting, label services, and management for songwriters and producers.
Ramírez crossed paths with Grupo Frontera in 2022, during the band's earliest days, and helped lead the strategy and campaigns behind records including "Un x100to" (with Bad Bunny) and "Que Vuelvas" (with Carín León), both of which have surpassed a billion streams. That relationship deepened over time: in 2026, he was named General Manager of BorderTown Records, the independent label founded by Frontera members Juan Javier Cantú, Alberto "Beto" Acosta, and Adelaido "Payo" Solís III in partnership with The Orchard, headquartered in the band's hometown of McAllen, Texas, and built around YUMA, the group's new creative complex. Focused on building a structure designed to ensure that, in the long run, music can truly shine, allowing to discover new artists and provide them with opportunities that many lack at the start of their careers.
