Latin GRAMMY® nominee Greeicy Yeliana Rendón Ceballos, known professionally as Greeicy, was born in Cali, Colombia, on October 30, 1992. From an early age, she showed a profound interest in performing and music, which led her to take piano, flute, guitar, and vocal lessons, laying the foundation for what would become a multifaceted artistic career.
Her professional journey began in the world of acting with her participation in the Colombian reality show “El Factor Xs,” where she placed among the six finalists. This exposure opened doors to the entertainment industry, leading her to star in various television projects that established her as one of Colombia's most promising young actresses. Her most iconic role was Daisy O’Brian McLaren in the successful series “Chica Vampiro,” where she demonstrated her interpretive versatility and natural charisma.
In 2017, Greeicy made the definitive leap into music, releasing singles like “Brindemos,” “Error,” and “Despierta,” becoming the new bet for Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Her musical evolution continued with the release of songs that became emblematic of her career: “Amantes,” “Más Fuerte,” “No Te Equivoques,” “Ya Para Qué,” and “Esta Noche,” solidifying her place in the industry and earning her first gold record in the United States.
During this period, Greeicy also participated in the show “Mira Quién Baila,” where she not only demonstrated her dance skills but also contributed to earthquake relief efforts in Mexico, showcasing her social commitment.
In 2019, Greeicy released her debut album BAILA, featuring 12 tracks that reached No. 20 on the US Latin charts. This first album established her signature sound and achieved multiple platinum certifications, consolidating her presence in the music industry.
That same year, the artist expanded her reach through strategic collaborations: she worked with Juanes on “Minifalda,” with Argentine singer-songwriter Luciano Pereyra on “Te Estás Enamorando De Mí,” and on “Locos Dementes” alongside Gusi.
2020 began with “Si Tu Amor No Vuelve,” featuring Mike Bahía, followed by “Los Besos” and “Los Consejos,” which further solidified her radio and digital success. During that year, she participated in singles like “Jerusalema” by Micro TDH, “Voy A Tomar” with Joey Montana and Cali y el Dandee, and “Contigo” with Nacho.
She closed 2020 as part of the reality show “A Otro Nivel,” was invited by Disney to perform the song for the movie “Soul,” and lent her voice to the character Porsha in “Sing 2.”
A dream collaboration came with Alejandro Sanz on “Lejos Conmigo,” who subsequently invited her to participate in Spain’s “La Voz” reality show. She also worked with Fonseca and Cali y El Dandee on “2005” and joined Cultura Profética for “Te Creí.”
A crucial moment in Greeicy’s career came with “ATT: AMOR,” an emotional music video that announced her pregnancy, marking the beginning of a new personal chapter that would profoundly influence her art. Motherhood became a constant source of inspiration, allowing her to reorganize her priorities and rediscover everyday experiences from a new perspective.
In 2022, Greeicy starred in the Netflix series “Ritmo Salvaje,” consolidating her presence on global platforms and demonstrating her ability to connect with international audiences.
In March of the same year, she released her second studio album, LA CARTA, a compilation of her musical maturity that reflected her artistic and personal growth. During this period, she announced her “AMANTES TOUR ATT: AMOR” tour, which took place in Bogotá, Cali, and Medellín.
In February 2023, Greeicy and Mike Bahía released the single “Mi Pecadito,” and she was named one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World by Forbes Magazine.
Her third album, YELIANA (2024), represented a tribute to all women and mothers worldwide, featuring tracks like “Que Me Quiera/Loquita,” “I Try For You/Química,” and “Zha.” This album marked a new stage in her career, as it explored her alter ego, Yeliana.
Growing international recognition led Greeicy to conquer Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Bolivia, Costa Rica, and the United States with the “Amantes tour: KAI” alongside Mike Bahía.
During this year, she also expanded her international collaborations, presenting tracks like “Lo Malo” with Aitana, Ana Guerra, and Tini, “Destino” with Nacho, “Domingo Remix” with Reykon, Cosculluela, and Rauw Alejandro, and “22” with Tini Stoessel. Additionally, she worked with Danna Paola on “MALA FAMA” and with Maejor on “I Love You.”
2024 marked a year of international consolidation for Greeicy. It began with the release of “A Veces a Besos,” produced by Ovy on the Drums and written by Keityn, which is a fusion of reggaeton and passionate melody that reached the Top 15 of the Latin Pop Airplay US Chart, remaining on the charts for over 17 weeks. The track later received a remix in collaboration with urban artist Kapo, revitalizing the song by incorporating diverse styles and showcasing her creative versatility.
Throughout 2024, Greeicy served as a judge on “La Voz Kids Colombia,” demonstrating her commitment to developing new musical talent. In September, she surprised audiences with “¿Qué Te Pasó?”, a collaboration with Jay Wheeler that quickly gained traction on digital platforms.
Her “Greeicy-Yeliana World Tour” was a remarkable success, taking her to iconic stages in cities such as Caracas, Santiago de Chile, and Guatemala, culminating in a triumphant return to the region at the end of 2024. The tour covered Colombia, the United States, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Spain, showcasing her international appeal.
The year culminated spectacularly when Greeicy became part of Univision’s iconic New Year’s Eve broadcast, with an exceptional performance from Times Square in New York, where she performed hits like “Los Besos,” “Destino,” and “A Veces a Besos” before thousands of spectators, accompanied by her family, including Mike Bahía and their son Kai.
2025 marks the beginning of a new chapter in Greeicy’s career with the May release of “Limonar,” her first single of the year that reflects her authenticity and artistic evolution. Two weeks later, Greeicy released “Estas Ganas,” her first solo pop bachata, which captures desire and sensuality. The video features "Gigi," a character created by Greeicy as inspiration for this new artistic facet.
In August, the multifaceted artist released “Quiero +”, a track where Greeicy challenges gender roles, as she and her backup dancers take the lead and make the first move in a playful game of seduction. The track earned a Gold Single certification in Spain.
Also in 2025, Greeicy has been part of major collaborations that showcase her versatility and international reach: “Amiga Mía” alongside Colombian superstar KAROL G, “En Tu Marea” with Goyo, “todavía” with Panamanian star Boza, and “MACARRONES CON QUESO” with Latin GRAMMY®-nominated Spanish singer BORJA.
In May 2026, Greeicy released her fourth studio album, CANDELA, an LP that portrays a deeply personal chapter marked by life’s highs and lows, yet centered on a connection with an inexplicable inner strength. The album features collaborations with Rawayana on “Solecito Vení,” Cultura Profética on “Mantis,” Branbel on “Al Lado de Usted,” La Guru on “No Era Mío,” and Calema on “Dónde, Cómo y Cuándo.” True to its power, the album earned gold certification in Colombia within hours of its release.
Greeicy has been nominated for Latin GRAMMYs®, Premios Juventud, Premios Nuestra Tierra, Premios Heat, Premios Latino Music Awards, Premios Latino Show Music, Premios Monitor Music Awards, and Premio Lo Nuestro. She has won MTV Millennial Awards, Premios Latin Plug, Premios Nuestra Tierra, and Premios Heat.
Her achievements have led to her being chosen as the social image for renowned brands like Reebok, Speed Max, Norma, and Pin Pop. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for JEEP and RAM. She has collaborated with SEVEN SEVEN, ESIKA, Lysol and, most recently, with Rexona on their “Tú Flow No Te Detiene” campaign.
