Stephanie Hernandez is a marketing and communications executive recognized for shaping the future of music through cross-cultural storytelling, visionary brand strategy, and industry advocacy. As a purpose-driven leader, she has forged a remarkable career at the crossroads of the global music industry, higher education, and social impact, driving initiatives that elevate brands, empower artists, and create pathways for the next generation.

As the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, she leads a $3 million multi-year strategy that has revolutionized the school’s brand presence, generated billions of media impressions, and established it as a beacon of excellence in music education. Her previous role as Marketing Manager at Rich Music, one of the top independent Latin labels, saw her directing global campaigns for award-winning artists like Sech, Justin Quiles, Dalex, Dímelo Flow, and others. Today, she continues to inspire and support artists and indie labels as a Latin music Marketing Consultant Strategist, including Puerto Rican international star Jay Wheeler and Dynamic Records’ emerging talent roster.

Stephanie’s leadership has earned her national recognition, including a recent nomination for the American Marketing Association’s Emerging Marketer Award in Higher Education. She founded The WomenUP Project, a powerful platform advocating for equity and safety for women in music and entertainment, earning her Telemundo’s “Unstoppable Women” accolade in 2022. In addition, she serves as Vice-Chair of Marketing for Women in Music’s MiamiChapter, sits on the Advisory Board of Miami Jam Sessions, and mentors the next generation of industry leaders through The Recording Academy’s GRAMMY U program.

A proud first-generation college graduate, she earned her Master’s in Global Entertainment and Music Business from Berklee College of Music in Spain, becoming the first woman to receive a Post-Master’s Fellowship for the same program. Her career embodies a relentless pursuit of using strategic vision, cultural fluency, and storytelling to build brands, empower communities, and lead the music industry toward a more inclusive future.
