Suzette Quintanilla is best known as the drummer for the iconic, Grammy Award-winning band, Selena y Los Dinos. Suzette performed alongside her sister Selena and brother A.B. and they have sold over 70 million records worldwide. The success of the group helped establish such notable number one hits like “Como La Flor,” “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” “Dreaming of You” and many more. Their music continues to inspire generations and has now reached over 17 Million RIAA Certifications.
Today, Suzette is the current CEO & President of Q Productions, Inc. and is helping to continue the success of the multi-million dollar company founded by her father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr. Suzette is at the forefront of numerous projects related to her family’s legacy including being Executive Producer of the Netflix Original “Selena: The Series” and of the highly anticipated documentary, “Selena y Los Dinos” that was recently acquired by Netflix to premiere this Winter. The upcoming documentary has won awards at The Sundance Film Festival, The Miami Film Festival and The South by Southwest Film Festival. As another instance of her impactful direction, Suzette was a creative force behind two sold-out Limited-Edition Collections with MAC Cosmetics that have further cemented Selena’s impact on the Beauty Industry.
Currently a Board Member of The Selena Foundation, Suzette is committed to honoring Selena’s legacy by supporting education, Latin music, and cultural initiatives. Under her guidance, the foundation has donated over a quarter of a million dollars to various organizations that uplift the community.
