Emilio Estefan
Emilio Estefan is a world-renowned music, television, and film producer who has been instrumental in shaping, developing, and directing the careers of his superstar wife, Gloria Estefan, as well as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Jon Secada, among many others. Emilio has achieved incredible success throughout his career, boasting more than 40 years of industry-leading achievements, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and induction into the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, just to name a few.
He has served as a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities and has produced a wide array of historical musical events at the White House. In 2009, President Barack Obama appointed him to the committee that helped establish the first National Museum of the American Latino, and in 2022, President Joe Biden entrusted him with producing the inaugural ceremony of the Summit of the Americas.
A recipient of multiple GRAMMY® Awards, Emilio has consistently broken new ground by blending Latin, pop, and global rhythms, creating an innovative and recognizable sound that resonates worldwide. His influence extends across entertainment—from music and television to hospitality and Broadway, where he served as Executive Producer of the Tony Award-nominated musical On Your Feet!. Together with Gloria, he was honored by the Library of Congress with the prestigious Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
In 2024, Emilio composed and produced the official anthem of the Leagues Cup, bringing together artists like Christian Nodal, Taboo (Black Eyed Peas), Emily Estefan, Gusi, Emilio Regueira (Rabanes), and Abel Pintos to celebrate unity and diversity through the powerful message of “Nuestros Colores.”
Looking ahead to 2025, Emilio continues to expand his cultural and creative legacy. He serves as executive producer of Gloria Estefan’s new album Raíces—a tribute to Latin American music and heritage. He is also set to contribute music for FIFA, as well as a major collaboration with Kings League, helping infuse global sports and entertainment with his signature sound and message of inclusion.
Emilio’s passion and contributions have earned him numerous prestigious accolades. He has been named an Industry Trailblazer by the RIAA, received the Excellence Award from the Queen Sofía Spanish Institute, and was honored with the Global Excellence in Entertainment Award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
