Chelsea Briggs
Chelsea Briggs is a radio personality and Billboard News host and video producer. Over the last 5 years at Billboard, Chelsea has been the brand’s go-to on camera talent for many red carpets, live shows and festivals taking on the role as lead host for Billboard’s yearly Grammys Live 2hour pre-show, the Billboard Music Awards red carpet, Billboard’s Women in Music live show, Coachella Live Show, Outside Lands & SXSW as well as a recurring panel moderator at Billboard’s Live Music Summit & Awards. In 2016, Billboard recruited Chelsea to not only be their go-to on-camera personality, but to also help the global charts brand build (from the ground up) their "Billboard News" online video department which was previously non-existent. In addition, Chelsea’s spunky and music-loving personality has won over an audience on the radio air waves in Los Angeles as a morning show host on 97.1 AMP Radio, as well as in the digital space as an entrepreneur and on-camera personality who successfully built — from the ground up — (and eventually sold) the pop-culture news outlet (Hollywire TV) — that’s still around today. Chelsea has interviewed some of the biggest names in the music business, including: Madonna, Dolly Parton, Justin Timberlake, Sting, Shania Twain, J. Balvin, Maluma, BTS, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez (just to name a few.) When Chelsea’s not working, you can find her on her yoga mat as a certified Yogi. She’s also a lover of a healthy life style which includes meditating, eating mainly plant based (how LA of her) and hiking. And lastly… as passionate as Chelsea is about the music and entertainment news, she is just as dedicated to service and has a long history working in philanthropy. Chelsea tutors homeless children with the program School on Wheels and also works with groups like the Children International, The Thirst Project and a variety of Breast Cancer Awareness and research organizations including, Susan G. Komen.
