Josh Mendez
Joshua Mendez serves as Co-founder and CEO at Rich Music Inc., one of the top independent record labels in Latin music today. The seasoned executive oversees ongoing business operations, including creative direction for all of Rich Music Inc. Born out of his love of music, Joshua, along with his father Richard, established the company in 2007 and currently has a talent roster that includes Latin GRAMMY® and Billboard Latin Music Award nominees Sech and Justin Quiles, as well as Billboard Top Latin producer, Dimelo Flow, rising star Dalex, Jamaican singer, producer & songwriter Chris Marshall, and up & coming Argentinian singer-songwriter Thyago.
Within a short timespan, Rich Music Inc. has received multiple Billboard Latin Music Award nominations, including Latin Rhythm Albums Label of the Year and Top Latin Albums Label of the Year and Top Latin Albums Imprint of the Year. In 2020, Josh was featured on Billboard’s prestigious Power Players list as well as the Latin Power Players list. Additionally, in 2021 he was named one of Billboard’s Indie Power Players. On a personal level, one of Mendez’ most significant achievements has been being in the position to wake up every morning and do what he loves the most, music. Through Rich Music, he hopes to use music as a source of joy and relief to people around the world.
Aside from growing a successful independent record label, Mendez and his team at Rich Music Inc. are actively involved with the community through various relief efforts, partaking in food and shelter initiatives in Miami for the last 5 years, and through the organization, collection and distribution of essentials during the recent devastation of hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
Joshua Mendez, is a high school graduate with partial college attendance and received a full football scholarship to Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL.
