David Valdivia is the CEO of Valdivia Marketing Group (VMG), a company that stands as
one of the foremost leaders in the Latin Concert business, producing an impressive
portfolio of over 250 events annually. With a career spanning an astounding 37 years as
a promoter, David is based in California and has established himself as a prominent
figure in the industry.
David's roots in the world of Latin music promotion run deep, as he is the son of Leo
Valdivia and the nephew of Jose Isabel Valdivia, known affectionately as "El Gordo
Delgado," who pioneered the Mexican Regional Concert Industry in the USA. Since 1958
and continuing to the present day, the Valdivia family has been instrumental in
producing a multitude of iconic tours and shows featuring legendary artists such as
Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Joan Sebastian, Los Bukis,
Bronco, Banda El Recodo, Jenni Rivera, and Grupo Firme, among many others.
As of 2023, VMG continues its legacy by producing numerous exceptional shows,
including those featuring artists like Peso Pluma, Banda MS, Tigres del Norte, Los
Temerarios, and countless others.
