New talents continue to join the new generation of urban singers in Puerto Rico and it is in the town of Caguas, where the next emerging star, Edgar Joel Bernier Rodríguez, who is known as BERNIER, was born.

This 20-year-old singer-songwriter, born on April 8, 2001, put aside his passion for sports (specifically for basketball), to fully dedicate his time to make music. In 2017 he began to post freestyle videos on Facebook, generating thousands of views. Then, in 2018, he released his first track on SoundCloud and prompted him to release more tracks while finishing his high school.

Now in 2022, BERNIER officially joined AP Global Music and is set to release his first official single “Escena” soon.
